Resilience helps you and your child cope with stress and bounce back from the tough stuff.
Your resilience matters. The better you feel, the safer your child feels. And when you manage stress, your child learns from your example.
With anything that causes stress, ask yourself: Do I need to worry about this? What can I do to reduce its impact on me? Take action wherever possible.
For your child: Recognize that their stress is real, and discuss ways that they can try to solve the problem. Expect them to take action wherever possible.
